Too many of us live in a space of Almost.

“Almost” is the hidden enemy of obedience.
Distraction keeps you circling what God already finished.

This isn’t about motivation or pressure.
It’s about deciding, clearing space, and taking intentional baby steps.

Identity leads. Evidence follows.

When I'm substituting and a child is talking too much I always ask,
"Are you finished with your work?
Their answer... "almost."
To which I respond, "almost doesn't count."

That's us building the vision and distracted because we start talking before the vision is complete.
We get distracted with other people's insights, thoughts and lives to where we almost finish.

Jesus didn't almost go to the cross to die for our sins.
He didn't almost rise after 3 days.
His final words weren't it is ALMOST finished.

Everywhere Jesus went He stood on His Father's Business never distracted by the ailments, the noise, the haters...

Jesus was solely focused on the work.

The Not So Hidden Cost of Distraction

Your life or at least what your life would have been.

So let's get out of the perpetual state of Almost and activate the Spirit of Finished.

But April how do I do that? I've been at almost for YEARS and if I'm honest I don't know if I can.

No worries darling the answer here...

Baby steps.
It doesn't matter how far away you are from your vision what matters is if you are taking steps towards it. Yes even baby steps count.

I need you to become extremely intimately involved with the woman holding the vision.
This is way deeper than posting on social media and performing your days.
This is about teleporting into the woman living in the vision.
Her day to day of what she does, how she thinks, how she feels, what she eats and drinks, how she leads and commands her days and time.

So the question is do you know what you want?

If you don't, that is why instability is at every door you knock on.

Cognitive dissonance takes it's toll on people who don't know what they want...

Cognitive dissonance is the inner friction that happens when your beliefs and your behavior aren’t in sync; when your mind says one thing and your life says another.

That's why you're not living the life you say you want.
You're wrestling with do I want this?
You're asking am I worthy enough to have this?
You're thinking can I really build this?

If your answer is a FULL BODY YES!

or even a nervous yes.

write the vision, make it plain, (Habakkuk 2:2)
renew your mind, (Romans 12:2)
put down the old life, (Ephesians 4:22–24, Colossians 3:9–10)
hold every thought captive, (2 Corinthians 10:5)
ask, seek, knock, (Matthew 7:7–8)
ask, believe and receive... (Mark 11:23–24)

and any other scripture you hold close to the heart knowing and expecting
God to be the one establishing your steps (Proverbs 16:9; Psalm 37:23)
and giving you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)

My question is have you lived them?

Have you written the vision plainly so you who sees it can run it?
Do you renew your mind daily? Are you replaying your old life?
Are you taking every thought captive and striking down the lies?
Have you asked, seeked, and knocked on all the doors?
Did you believe God would give what you asked for and it's already done?
Are you being obedient to the steps God ordered?
Do you trust Him?

I know, I know... Dang Coach you didn't have to come at me like that!

I do this because I love you and I know you want the promised abundance and if it's the abundance you want it's the abundance you shall have. Let me remind you it's not about more it's about the quality of life being increased.
