File #015 | The Identity Gap Is Costing You Results
Most women think they have a strategy problem.
But the real block?
They don’t recognize the woman God already built them to be.
You can’t execute like the woman you doubt exists.
You can only execute like the woman you believe you are.
And the gap between who God says you are
and who you think you are
is where all your results get swallowed.
That gap is holding everything you're missing confidence, sales, consistency, purpose...
you can’t hear God over the noise in your own head.
This isn’t a marketing issue.
This is an identity issue.
And identity issues always feel louder than strategy.
Why?
They live in your body, in your chest, in your head, and in your cells, because my love you have physically lived this and the body keeps score.
TL;DR:
You don’t have a strategy problem; you're in identity crisis.
Your results will rise the moment your identity stabilizes.
You cannot build like the woman you doubt.
Become her first.
James says it this way...
James 1:6–8 (AMP)
6 But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind.7 For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord,8 being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].
Translation:
Double-minded = unstable identity
Unstable identity = unstable execution
Unstable execution = unstable results
This scripture eats me up every time.
Why You Don’t See Results
You can only build from the identity you’re anchored in.
Probably why God used waves to explain this crisis many will endure.
When you don’t see yourself right, everything gets heavy:
One slow week feels like the end of your calling, let alone months of ghosting.
One “no” feels like proof you’re not enough.
If He gave you the clients before you accepted the confidence,
you’d mishandle the blessing.
If He gave you the results before He stabilized your self-concept,
you’d sabotage the increase.
Identity is protection.
Identity is the training ground for stewardship.
Let's discuss the results you will receive when your identity is not up to par...
Result #1: Weak Identity Creates Weak Execution
When you don’t believe you’re called,
you post like you’re guessing.
When you don’t believe you carry authority,
you offer like you’re apologizing.
When you don’t believe God sent you,
you market like you’re bothering people.
Your audience feels it.
The mirror always tells the truth.
People don’t buy confidence.
They buy certainty.
And certainty comes from identity.
Does any of this feel familiar? It does for me which is why we're having this conversation.
Result #2: Misaligned Identity Creates Misaligned Expectations
You want results that match her… (your, I built this with God and it's working self)
but you’re working from the identity of the woman you used to be.
Who can blame you it's the only woman you've ever been.... or is it? I'm sure you can remember a time when you changed your mind made a clear line in the sand and said never again...
Non-negotiable NEVER AGAIN.
And so this mismatch pains you.
You're expecting overflow while operating from insecurity.
You think you're moving in clarity while speaking confusion
over yourself every time things don't go as planned.
You expect momentum while reciting your own limitations.
Expectation is spiritual.
Execution is practical.
Identity is the bridge between the two.
Result #3: Identity Determines Interpretation
Two women can experience the same week:
One gets low engagement and thinks, “Something is wrong with me.”
The other gets low engagement and thinks, “The algorithm is lying; let me post again.”
The difference isn’t skill.
It’s identity.
Identity determines:
how you interpret delay
how you respond to rejection
how you recover from disappointment
how you continue without confirmation
how you execute without applause
This is why spiritual amnesia is dangerous,
you forget who you are right when it’s time to build.
With that being said let's get into this weeks...
Activation (using Baby Steps)
Baby Steps → Quantum Leaps Activation
Baby Step:
Choose ONE identity trait God has shown you and repeat it out loud 3 times today.
Put it on a post it note.
(“I am called.” “I am consistent.” “I am the woman for the job.”)
Identity Shift:
Notice how your body reacts, resistance reveals the old identity dying.
Quantum Leap:
Take one action from that identity before the day ends.
This is how you collapse the gap, baby steps.
If you don’t fix how you see yourself, the results you’re praying for won’t have a place to land.
The Lordis notslack concerning his promise; He’s preparing you.
He’s building the woman before He builds the platform…
because the platform can’t hold what the woman isn’t ready to receive.
So breathe.
Stabilize your identity.
And watch how quickly your results begin to respond.
You are the evidence.
Now become the woman who believes it.
Your CLEARR Message:
Clarity:
Identity is your operating system.
If you don’t know who God says you are, nothing you build can run smoothly.
Get clear on her; the woman God designed, and your path will stop glitching.
Legacy:
Your identity isn’t just for you.
Your children, your clients, your future self all rise or crumble based on who you believe you are.
Insecurity is generational on the flip side, so is confidence. Choose the inheritance you want to pass down.
Execution:
You don’t move like the woman you hope to be,
you move like the woman you believe you are.
Shift your identity and your actions will follow without force.
Baby steps today become quantum leaps tomorrow.
Authority:
When your identity stabilizes, your voice stabilizes.
Authority isn’t volume, it’s conviction.
And conviction only comes from knowing who sent you and who you are.
Stand on that.
Radical Responsibility:
Stop negotiating with the version of you that God already delivered you from.
If you want different results, you need a different self-concept.
Rewrite your identity on purpose, with scripture, with truth, with practice.
